We have a wide selection of programs for children and adults of all ages.

Many clubs and organizations hold their meetings at the Community Center.
Some, like the Doll Club, meet once a month; others, like the Bridge Club and the Senior Citizens, meet once a week. Depending on your activity or group needs, there are many options available.

Special Notice - Senator Robert Wonderling

Pennsylvania Senator Rob Wonderling's office will be holding "office hours" at the Forks Township Community Center on Tuesdays, May 12th, June 9th, and June 23rd, 2009 from 9:00 AM to Noon. Staff from the Senator's office will be on hand to assist constituents with issues involving state government, including the Property Tax Rent Rebate Program, PACE/PACENET, the Children's Health Insurance Program, PennDOT issues, and game and fisheries information, to name a few.

Getting Started with Yoga

This beginner's class will help people reconnect mind, body and spirit. This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga, which is a relaxing form of bodywork that encourages movement and proper body alignment. All ages and genders welcomed.
Students should dress comfortably. Please bring your own sticky mat.

1st Class - Six week course - Tuesdays

  • Total cost for classes: $ 68.00
  • Time: 6 - 7 PM
  • Registration required. Limited space for 8 people

2nd Class - Six week course - Thursdays

  • Total cost for classes: $ 68.00
  • Time: 6:30 - 7:30 PM
  • Dates: May 21st, 28th, June 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th

2009 Preschool learning Alternative

"Here I grow" Program - A fun and educational experience for early learners.
Ages: 3 1/2 - 5 years
Saturdays 10:30 - Noon

Children attend independently - without parent - and enjoy learning in a cheerful and comfortable environment that eases separation.

Learning is highlighted by theme-based activity centers, structured circle time, story time, crafts, music, preschool concept lessons, games, and discovery projects.

  • Exercise cooperation and self-expression
  • Recognize letter sounds and numbers
  • Learn matching, sorting, patterning, sequencing
  • Practice counting and rhyming
  • Develop fine and gross motor skills

Pre - School Dance I Class - Beginners

This class is designed to introduce your pre-school aged children to the world of dance. Dancers will learn body awareness through learning basic steps for ballet and tap dancing.

Pre - School Dance II Class - Experience Dancers

Instructor: Justine Caiazzo
This class is designed for young girls. This class provides the fundamentals in becoming a dancer. Children will learn the beginning steps for ballet, and tap dancing.

Ages: Ages: 4, 5, & 6 years (with some dance experience)
Cost: $ 68.00
Saturday: July 11, 18th, & 25th - August 8th, 15th, & 22nd

This class is for students who have had some prior dance experience.

Pint size Balleria Dance Camp

Fun filled week long camp for preschool aged children. Children learn beginning fundamental steps of ballet and keeping time with the music. Dancers will also participate in related arts & crafts, as well as wear Ms. Frankenfield's performance costumes just for fun!
